Best Brownies EVER!!

If you are a chocoholic like I am then you have just hit the jackpot! My family won't even ask for store bought brownies! I am absolutely fine with that! This recipe can be switched up with different kinds of morsels, chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch even pumpkin spice! But trust me no matter the variation you decided to make you will NEVER go back to store bought brownie mixes again!

Ingredients:

Pre ~ Heat oven 350*

-
3/4 cup cocoa powder
-
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-
2/3 cup butter, melted & divided
-
1/2 cup boiling water
-
2 cups sugar
-
2 large eggs
-
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
-
1/2 teaspoon salt ( I use Himalayan but use what you have)
-
1 1/3 cup flour
-
1 whole bag of chocolate chips (Or your choice of morsel flavor)

First, grease a 9x13" baking dish ( I use the Pam baking spray! It is awesome!) and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cocoa and baking soda.

Stir in 1/3 cup of the melted butter until smooth. Stir in the boiling water until the mixture is smooth and thick.

Mix in the boiling water until the mixture is smooth. It will be very thick!

Pour it on in'!

Silky, thick smoothness...
But remember there is no sugar in it! It is still bitter tasting!

Stir in the sugar!!

Add in the two eggs and the remaining 1/3 cup melted butter.

Add the vanilla and the salt. Mix in until smooth.

Gently add in the flour and chocolate chips stirring between each and with the mixer on low only mix until just combined.
You can keep an extra little bit of chocolate chips if you want to sprinkle some on top before baking too!

Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 35 ~ 40 minutes, or just until the edges start to pull away from the pan and look a little crunchy! If you have any doubt just know it is better to not over bake brownies. And these ones are a little fudgy so if you check them and in the center is still a little fudgy that means they are perfect!

Enjoy all of that fudgy goodness....
