Breakfast.... the most important meal of the day!

So, I know all the "experts" say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, sometimes in my house breakfast is for dinner. But, whether you eat it for whatever meal of the day I hope you will add some of the recipes my family enjoys to your "Family favorites list"! Enjoy and there will be more to come!

Savory Breakfast Frittata

Savory Breakfast Frittata

Natural ground sausage, fresh veggies, and fresh herbs are what make this breakfast frittata so fresh and amazingly good. Gooey cheeses and just the right amount of spice from the natural ground sausage will melt in your mouth and become a staple in any family's menu!

Pumpkin pie pancakes

Pumpkin Pie Spiced Pancakes

So, I love pumpkin just about anything at this point! I am also a little bummed that it is only seasonal. But, I guess it gives me something special to look forward in the fall. So if you’re like me try this recipe and don’t skip the Redi-Whip for the top like I did the first time around. Sprinkle with a little pumpkin pie spice for flare and it’s a spectacular sight! I hope you love this just as much as I did!

Fresh Fruit Smoothie

Fresh Fruit Smoothie

So, mornings can sometimes be a little hectic! Sometimes we are lucky just to get a cup of coffee or tea! That is no way to start our day when so many depend on us! I love smoothies! They fill me up and taste great! So, I thought why don't I make ahead frozen baggies with the fruit and protein! I hate buying produce then seeing it get thrown out. This way I can buy when they are on sale and preserve for later use! Have fun personalizing these and let me know your favorite combinations!
